There are three principles for making Shiva your Guru. 3. Be formless (like water): Water takes the shape of the container it’s poured into. Similarly, a person should be able to adapt to every situation.
4. Control over the mind: We can only hear the voice of our inner self when our mind is calm. Practice restraint over your senses and emotions.
5. Karma and destiny: Always perform good deeds, because your actions determine your destiny. One must face the consequences of their actions; virtuous deeds are essential.
6. Renounce ego: Avoid ego and selfishness. Do not covet the wealth or spouse of others.
7. Philanthropy and service: Serve your parents, elders, and guests, and be forgiving.
8. Let go of worry: Worrying is doubting God’s plan. Letting go of worry is the path to freedom from suffering.
Shiva’s Wisdom: The Purpose of Life
The ultimate goal of human life is to merge with the Supreme Being (God) from whom we originated. This is possible only by following these principles.

“Om Namah Shivaya” is Lord Shiva’s most beloved and powerful mantra, known as the Panchakshara Mantra.
By adopting these teachings, one can overcome life’s difficulties and attain liberation (moksha).
